The Upcountry History Museum will welcome Very Eric Carle: A Very Hungry, Quiet, Lonely, Clumsy, Busy Exhibit May 20.

The traveling exhibit pulls from the children’s book author and illustrator’s works and creates a play-and-learn environment where visitors step into the pages of Carle’s picture books by:

  • Becoming the Very Hungry Caterpillar as visitors follow his path
  • Weaving a web with the Very Busy Spider
  • Making the Very Clumsy Click Beetle flip and jump
  • Composing a night symphony with the Very Quiet Cricket
  • Exploring all the stories through words, pictures and videos in the exhibit’s reading zone
