Foreign welcome back to my channel this is loli today we're gonna have a fun time together let's jump into the video DIY number one for this project guys I'm gonna use one of these terracotta plants that that I got the rakora planters that I got from the Dollar Tree and I'm going to give it a full coat of.
Paint using this Black and Decker print and primer then once that was all dry I took my mod podge and I'm going to add it to the rim of my terracotta planter I made sure to give it a generous and even coat then I took some of this tissue paper that I found at the Dollar Tree and I'm going to place it down onto the wet Mod.
Podge I'm just going to make sure they line up my paper with the edge of the rim of my tissue paper there my temperature planter and I'm just going to go ahead and put it down onto the Mod Podge in small sections at a time making sure to remove any Bubbles as I'm going on and then I am going on top of it with some more Mod Podge on my paintbrush and.
Making sure there's no bubbles once that dried I just use my emery board and I sanded off all the edges to reveal a nice clean finish end and then I came in with some of this um floral foam from the Dollar Tree I cut a chunk that was big enough to enter onto my terracotta pot nice and tight I.
Pressed it down and then I'm gonna use some of this cherry blossom pick that I found at the Dollar Tree as well and I'm just bending it in different ways I wanted to resemble more of a tree instead of a plant guys look look at this I have such a hard time such a hard time doing this but eventually I got it I cut that pesky.
Little piece of stem and then I was able to put it into my floral foam just press it all the way down and just continue to fluff it one more time guys you want to take a quick minute to say thank you for clicking on my video and I hope you enjoy it and this project was inspired by glisten designs I'm going to link her video to.
My description box below okay enough for the fluffing now we're gonna go ahead and move on to embellishing this a bit more so I took some hot glue and put it on top of my floral foam and I'm going to attach it attach some of my floral Moss onto it to give this a nice clean look I love how that green brings out the.
Cherry blossom it's an easy craft and it's beautiful and once I'm done with that that's pretty much it guys here it is let me know how you like it I love this thing I love the little touch of pink and the green I'm in love with this piece let me know what you think if you enjoyed this video don't forget.
To leave me a thumbs up this helps my channel grow and it lets YouTube know that I'm doing a good job friends this video is part of a collaboration called the recreation inspiration and I hosted each month by Amanda from six kids and a glue gun and Charlene from The Crafty art Shack and the guest host this month is Zena from.
Okay at home DIY the link to the channels will be in my description box below along with the playlist where you can find lots of inspiration DIY number two for this project I'm gonna use two of these cute little cutting boards from the Dollar Tree I remove all the stickers and I'm gonna use one of these placards also from.
Dollar Tree and two tumbling tower blocks this um project is inspired by Kathy Joe I'm going to put a link to her video in my description box below I started by using some of this wood glue from Dollar Tree and I'm going to also use some hot wood glue as well to attach this and I'm just.
Going to put the tumbling tower blocks making sure that it's flush with the the cotton board as well to make sure that this stands up once that's set I went over and just cleaned off any excess glue that's deep through and then we put in the piece of board on there now I'm going to be measuring using one of these doll rods.
That I found from Dollar Tree this is my last one guys forgive me that it's all messy but I'm out and I couldn't find any more in any of my Dollar Trees so I'm working with what I have left so the first thing I did I measured to see how much I needed and I cut it to the size that I needed then I took my two cotton boards and I bought them back to back.
With each other and I'm going to use some masking tape to make sure that I have it all secure in place I just did like two rolls of I rolled it twice onto it to make sure it was nice and secure and then I'm going to hold them in place and I'm using this drill bit that is exactly the same size as my Dal rod and I'm going to boil a hole onto the top.
Right there in the middle guys I didn't do a very good job I didn't realize that I kind of went in an angle so you'll see later what happened anyway for now we are going to try to put this dial Rod onto the holes we are going to try to bang it a little bit on the end to get it into the other side of the cutting board and then I'm gonna take the other.
Cutting board and put it onto the dial Rod of the other side in order to have them connected like you see right there then I'm trying to make sure everything is nice and level and it was wonky guys it was really wonky so I'm like you know what the Dal Rod is a little bit too long so you know I fitted with it I try to.
Take it out I ended up breaking the dial run and one other piece of the dial Rod stayed in the hole but it worked out fine because I was able to use that to create another hole and that's what I had to do in order to make everything straight I checked one more time to make sure that everything was nice and level it.
Was much better so now we are gonna go in and glue that plank onto the the what do you call them again the tumbling top locks and I did the same thing combination of wood glue and hot wood glue then I took some of these jumbo crab sticks from the Dollar Tree and I measured them marked them with a pencil.
Exactly where I wanted to cut them and then add in a drop of wood glue and two little dots of hot wood glue to my sides there and I'm going to create my first plank on there I held it in place until it was Secure and I'm doing the same thing here put in my craft stick I'm measuring with the pencil marking with a pencil and cutting off the excess with.
My scissors and that's going to go right above that one a little bit of hot glue and a little bit of wood glue they're both wood glue but one is hot and one is regular and I'm just pressing it down I did that with both sides and then I came in with my Black and Decker paint and I gave it two coats of paint once that was dry I took some of the mod podge and I'm.
Applying it a nice even coat to the planks that I created and I'm letting it dry once it was dry I took some more of that tissue paper that I found from the Dollar Tree and I'm using my little heat press and pressing it down activating that mod podge and making this tissue paper adhere to the plank nice and straight.
And nice and smooth and then I went over I cut off the excess I make sure to split the end the middle there guys otherwise the next part won't be as satisfying as it is and I let it on fire guys I love this look look it's so much fun to see it Go and it leaves behind a little bit of a distressing if you see there the yellow I kind of like that so.
That worked out pretty good and I had nice clean edges and I did that to both sides once that was done I took two little cubes like this of my floral foam and I glued it down and now we are going to go ahead and use some florals these actually no I'm gonna distress I forgot guys I'm stressing I just took some of my Waverly.
Um antique wax and I'm gonna do a very light distressing because already there was a lot of distressing with the little burn marks but this is like just a little bit a little touch of it I like the stressing I don't go too crazy with it and I just did it in the end so it would just look like an old little piece that is still kind of cute if that makes.
Any sense and I just put it on all the edges of the board and around the whole thing now I'm coming in with the floral so I took two I think it was two yes I believe I used two of these picks or maybe just one I think it's two or one and a half or one and a half maybe and most likely one and a half but anyway I cut it in.
Individual stems and I'm going to just position them around the little box here in different spots I love the contrast of that white and that pink with the little touch of yellow so I just spread them out as evenly as possible but at the same time it looks like nice little wildflowers just hanging out in there and I did it a little bit too tall so I.
Ended up taking them out and trimming my stems a little more and then repositioning them then I took these yellow flowers on the Dollar Tree kind of reminds me of um baby's breath and I just took two of those little pieces and I'm gonna put them in two sections of my box then I took some of this boxwood from Walmart.
And I'm cutting two small stems of other pick and I'm going to also position them in there to just give this more a little bit of a different texture and color friends if you enjoyed this video so far don't forget to subscribe it is free and it means the world to me in order to spread out the boxwood a little bit better I cut.
Um one of the stems and the two separate stems and then spread it around a little bit more on the box so if you click right there you can see it just right there those was one that I turned into two and I just did the same thing with the second one I turn it into two separate picks and so I'm able to put smaller amounts in different places just.
To give it more of a more realistic look thank you foreign was happy with the placement of the flowers I took some of this um Spanish moss from Dollar Tree and this one comes compacted pretty well together.
So I just took my scissors and I just cut like long pieces of it so it would it would be easier for me to place on to the floral foam here so I just moved the flowers and the petals and the leaves out of my way and I added hot glue to the floral foam and now I am wedging those pieces of floral Moss onto the floral foam making sure to cover the.
Form completely I repeated this process with both sides until you no longer can see the floral foam friends don't forget to visit the playlist so you do not miss out and all the amazing projects that so many talented creators are getting ready for you.
And this project is complete let me know how you like it I love this little thing guys the pictures I'm not giving Justice let me know how you like it foreign number three for this one I'm going to use this home sign from the Dollar Tree and I'm going to give it a full coat of.
Paint using my Black and Decker paint and primer and here it is once that was done now I'm taking my emery board and I'm just sanding off the rough edges I did want the edges to be a little distressed so I did both there then I'm taking some of this mod podge and I'm going to completely cover the top portion of my home sign making sure that.
It's even in every single spot on there so the next part of my DIY goes nice and smoothly so I'm coming in with some more of this tissue paper from the Dollar Tree and my little mini press look at it guys it's so cute they even have the little Smitty look you ever had a mini press smile at you there it is.
So I did two passes then I took my scissors and cut off the excess and I'm going to go ahead and do this same thing guys my favorite part of working with Mod podgin now is this magical thing of burning it off and all of a sudden everything just falls into place it's completely molded onto your art piece and you have this dressing.
So it is a win-win situation look at that I love that so the parts I have they have circles like that we have to punch holes into it and go underneath making sure not to burn that wood is a little bit harder when you have a smaller opening but look at that guys this is like a game changer I love this method.
there were a couple of places that I had to work a little harder they try to burn those off but it got done and look that small area right there kept going at it until it got nice and done and there that is and now we are not done yet we are going to embellish this a little more I'm gonna take one of.
These flowers that I use for the previous DIY and I'm going to add some hot glue to the back of the petals and I'm going to stick it right there onto my o and now we had done here it is guys I hope you love this piece I am in love and love and love with this let me know what you think let me know which one of this is.
