thank you hey there welcome to my home it is looking pretty bare in here now that all of the Christmas decor has been taken down and packed away so I want to freshen it up a bit today and decorate for the remaining winter months here's a.
Quick look at all of the things we have to help make my home more fresh and a little more cozy for winter I'm so happy to be bringing you along with me today as I decorate for the season we are getting started in the breakfast room today if you saw any of my Christmas decorating videos then you know that I had bright red curtains in.
Here and I absolutely love them but I'd like to freshen and brighten the space a bit for winter and the new year so I'm changing them out with these winter white velvet curtains that I have I like to double up the panels on each side of the windows just to give it a bit of a fuller look so that's what I'm doing right now.
Foreign ERS together now yeah we're in this together now I'm also changing out the photos in here to really bring in those winter Vibes I found all of these cute photos that I'm using today on canva I love them the little winter animals on some of them are so sweet and they make me so happy.
Every time I come in here falling down even if we're falling down all of me is yours every part of me cause we're in this together now you and me together now we're scared to lose.
Without You Without You thank you I'll be our light I'll keep you from Darkness.
Even when the sun don't shine as I was decorating I decided that I still needed a little bit of Twinkle in my life after the holidays I'm not quite ready to give it up just yet so I'm using my favorite birch trees to add a Whimsical element to the winter Decor this year I still have the ones I used for the holiday season up in my bedroom and I am.
Enjoying them so much foreign like I do during the holidays I thought I would Elevate the coziness just a bit by using this Sherpa fabric that I found at Walmart.
Together when you came over my heart was on its way out I wasn't sober and I was thinking out loud please.
Love me differently differently you lay beside me you held my hand in my dark dark I started fighting cause I was scared of a few things that I really love to use.
In my home decor throughout the year are old books many of the ones that I have in my collection were actually given to me by my grandfather so they hold special meaning and seeing them out in my home every day is just a really nice way to think of and remember him so I really love those they're very special to me others that I have I've just found.
Over the years at used bookstores I know someone may ask in the comments who is in this picture on the coffee table that is a very old picture of me and my little sister winter decorating is all about soft cozy warm textures and peaceful color.
Palettes that bring a sense of calm and relaxation to the space after the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is over the winter Blues can really sneak up on us during the months of January and February especially if it's still very frigid weather outside where you live so.
Bringing in elements to the home that promote tranquility and really make your home feel like the sanctuary that it is can help I think decorating our homes and creating a space that brings us joy can truly be a form of self-care so today we are going to bring in lots of candles cozy pillows and blankets and soft textures winter whites with a touch.
Of pale blue and a few faux florals to brighten up the space just a bit foreign you will notice these pillow covers in different colors in my home all year long if you hang out with me here on YouTube they are from Amazon and a really great way to change out your.
Throw pillows without having to store lots of bulky pillows when you aren't using them I have them in so many colors and I love them I use them all the time to refresh my color palette throughout my home my fingernails Nails worn out shoes.
I never thought that our fault was a one like you nger without a single okay foreign I'm also using some white faux florals today adding florals can really soften.
The space up a bit and I think white brings in a refreshing feeling during those winter months after the rich colors of the holiday season have been taken down red and green are lovely but I am looking forward to a bright space with light tones for the rest of winter and into spring although I do love using fresh florals throughout my home as well.
I often use a mix of both faux and fresh but today we are just using some faux florals that I found at Hobby Lobby when the morning comes with a brand new day and we have to pretend that we don't know each other but I don't wanna run run away from you cause baby I am done.
please won't you run run away with me cause you can't control foreign thank you.
foreign been looking for a sweet song aside waiting for a reason to laugh.
Cause I've been spent all my time to figure out foreign come down foreign.
and every word I've spoken could have been my life to you instead of spending all my time to figure why you're gone I've come to this conclusion in the end what's done is done.
Cause what goes on these blankets that I'm adding underneath the bench here are from Walmart and I love them they are so cozy I decided to buy a few extra which is what you are seeing here to give guests that come stay with me this winter season just as a little cozy welcoming gift that they can take with them once.
They leave when I have company I like to give them a little something and I think soft cozy blankets are perfect for winter will come down what goes on will come down.
yes foreign foreign foreign oh all night.
All the words foreign so let's go back.
one day perfect foreign.
Decorating my home brings me so much joy and I'm so grateful to be able to share a little bit of that Joy here with you on YouTube so thank you for watching and I will see you again very soon one day all the love was on my become Joy.
To remember one day
